France, 1760. Marianne is commissioned to paint the wedding portrait of Héloïse, a young girl who has simply left the convent. Due to the fact she is a reluctant bride-to-be, Marianne arrives underneath the guise of companionship, looking at Héloïse through day and secretly portray her by firelight at night. As the 2 women orbit each other, intimacy and enchantment develop as they proportion Héloïsearch engines first moments of freedom.
