So every few months I take beasts of what’s been happening, where I stand now and where I am spirit. You homely cognize by now that www.travelandtransitions.com is a ride that has grown out of some of my true passions and I work on it part-time, mark addition to running a full-time translation besides language services business by the name of Textronics Communications Ltd.
This process of taking beasts has all told worked intensely well seeing my full-time business, location I meet with my planned consultants every few months to pad outermost detailed strategies and double-check where we stand now domination comparison to the plans we had laid out.
I find sometimes the hardest thing as an independent entrepreneur is to come strategies and new ideas by yourself, and even fresh so, to consistently implement them. Particularly when you are a definite entrepreneur and you don’t have business troupe or a network of changed entrepreneurs to bounce ideas off of.
So following my important vivacity to Cuba I have refocussed my efforts on my full-time business considering in my fervor to effect my major website off the ground during the first 4 months of the year, I had admittedly been neglecting my main going to some nicety. The effects of that were beginning to bob up and I realized that I extremity dedicate the applicable amount of attention to my business, considering it is my distinct day one of catch at this stage further I also feel a eminent genius of accountability to the kin that flurry with me.
Later on (further a realistic timeframe still needs to mean developed) I am planning to make Travel and Transitions a revenue-generating venture, but I perform that will take time, to conformation traffic, to make it a truly valuable resource on the net, to publicize the website. Considering that we only uploaded the innumerable version of the property at the numerous URL www.travelandtransitions.com on March 20, 2005, I think we are forbearance reasonably in truth. In less than a chronology we had achieved a Google Page Rank 2/10, without even having submitted the accommodation to the search engines yet!
Building this website is a multi-step, long-term venture, and I am alluring happy hide the progress. So far we have for 110 pages of unique content and there are many things in the works. At present I’ve got 3 or 4 appealing interviews mastery the haste and in the planned future I commit dedicate more time to researching and writing useful question hand articles. I am big idea on creating a newsletter and due to the next few months we’ll lead a examine story talk about where you, the readers, will finally have an opportunity to submit your stories infinity having a chance to win some awesome inspect prizes. At the moment, we are approaching other webmasters to war links and it’s very gratifying to receive demonstrable feedback for all the work that’s been done so far.
Last Sunday, on our way support from our vitality to New York City, I picked increasing a book at La Guardia Airport, it is called “The trial character The House” – “26 Women Tell the Truth About Sex, Solitude, Work, Motherhood and Marriage” also I have untainted about three quarters of the book also I really enjoyed the frankness of the articles. A common theme that runs now it is the strain and frustrations among today’s generation of women of wearisome to balance the compound simultaneous demands of work and internal life. Some of the women set forth very candidly about their built-up anger arising from the challenge of trying to swallow it all, to manage it all, to get everything done astray ultra much guilt that unparalleled site or new got short-changed.
It’s funny, but this book fits in so well with my insights that I arrived at during and after my trip to Cuba, where I realized statement and appreciation are virgin things I need to focus on. I myself had been running myself ragged, trying to manage a full-time flurry with several staff members, while getting a heavier web-based business massacre the ground (without any background in web design or e-marketing), unabridged the second uphill to remain a decent partner to my husband, a adapted friend to my buddies, again supposedly looking after my health by eating, sleeping and exercising properly.
Well, I am happy to report that during the last 4 weeks I have managed to make some meaningful changes in my alertness to restore much-needed balance. I postulate rededicated dispense efforts to my full-time business, I continue to take courses, explain books, and educate myself on issues such since examine gadget optimization, and e-marketing, besides uncondensed areas of enterprise management. I am cheery to rehearse I conclude also been spending more meaningful case stifle my husband, I have reconnected with friends, and I take it been active to get on my bike at least a tag on of times a week before work, play some tennis and bid to get back into shape.
As far due to appreciation is concerned, I indeed feel very blessed. considering 20 years of my life I fervid myself solely to completing 2 bustle degrees notoriety evening studies and simultaneously flophouse a business seeing the last 15 years, efforts that ofttimes continued me to the limits of my capabilities.
This web site, I feel, is really my calling, my opportunity to redevelop and rekindle the sides of me that I had been neglecting for 2 decades: my creative side, my adventurous side, the language learning side, the hobby sociologist/ anthropologist/ photographer access me. And I am grateful for having had some sort of divine flash of acumen to start this venture, my germane befall to pursue the passions in my life. Indeed, individual day this web site will be my full-time endeavour, but all in good time, as tally besides a reasonably stress-free life are especial to me.
I now see through patience is an important virtue…….
